Distance from interstate 89: 10 minutes by car but parking can be a challenge.

This is Vermont's first green restaurant. It in a basement and hard to find. Go to the corner of St. Paul and College Streets, across from the VT Pub and Brewery and walk diagonally until you find it.

Best pick: Looks for Beth's Kale Hash on the specials board. It was named after my wife.
